the practical part
Questions I am usually asked
How do we reserve our date?
A signed agreement and a 30% retainer hold the date. The balance is due two weeks before the wedding, and I am happy to split it into instalments.
How long until we see the photographs?
A small preview within a week, and the full gallery in six to eight weeks. During high season it can lean toward eight.
Do you travel?
Constantly and happily. Anywhere in Italy, anywhere in Europe, and further if you will have me. Travel is quoted separately and transparently.
We feel awkward in front of a camera.
Almost everyone says this, and almost no one means it by the end. I work slowly, I talk to you, and I mostly photograph you while you are busy being yourselves.
What if it rains?
On Lake Como it sometimes does, and those are often the best pictures. I bring umbrellas and a plan B for every location.
Can we have the unedited files?
I deliver a fully edited gallery rather than raw files — the editing is part of the work you are hiring me for. Every delivered image is yours to print freely.
